We have a few important values in our home. One of those values is “work hard, play harder”. We try to do a great job on both fronts. Living in the Washington DC area means that there are a plethora of opportunities to play hard and harder, which I enjoy highlighting every chance I get.

Honestly, I was recently really bummed when I found out that Mo Willems was going to be the first Artist in Residence at the Kennedy Center first this summer and we couldn’t be there. Blame it on the travel life.

Mo Willems is one of my children’s favorite authors. We have read many of his books.

We’re especially crazy about the Elephant and Piggie series. Actually, that’s one of the reasons I was so happy to learn that the Elephant & Piggie’s, “We are in a Play” will be showing at Adventure Theater in Glen Echo Maryland.

Adventure Theater is a kids’ musical theater and theatrical performance organization that makes stories like, Mo Willems, “We are in a Play” come to life.

I’m excited to be partnering with Adventure Theater to give away a four pack of tickets! This play is appropriate for all ages and a good excuse to head out for some family fun.
