Anyone that has ever had a business knows that there comes a point when you just can’t continue to do it all on your own. If you want to grow, there comes a time when you have to trust someone besides yourself. Adding someone else to the team takes faith, courage and trust. But once you get through the ring of fear, the rewards are so much sweeter.

What does this have to do with you? You have a business. It’s call the family business. Every meal you make, every dish you clean, every butt you wipe… This is your family. And if you don’t do it, it won’t get done. Well sort of…

You really don’t have to do it all by yourself. It’s time to break-free of the superwoman syndrome. It’s time to outsource some tasks and stress less. Just in case no one has told you, you deserve a break.

That hair appointment, you deserve it.

That adult’s only conversation, you deserve it.

That solo trip to your fave fro-yo spot, you deserve it.

Thirty minutes of cardio 4 days a week and don’t forget those weights…you deserve all of it and more.

But let’s be honest, dragging day to day with no energy is just no way to live. What if you could free up 3 hours a week? What would you do with your free time?

Would you play with your kids more?

Would you finally get the gym membership that you’ve been thinking about? Clubs like 24 Hour Fitness offer a 3 day pass for new customers to try.

Maybe you would make date nights with your hubby a priority.

Or, you could start planning a family vacation.

This is where it begins.  Here are some areas that are prime for outsourcing so can can stress less and live more fully as a busy modern mom.

Hair Care

Start seeing a hairdresser. Sure you are fully capable but, it’s nice to have someone else have some fun with the tresses every now and again.

House Cleaning

Talk to your neighbors or ask your family and friends for recommendations about someone that can help out around the house. Don’t be dismayed if you can’t afford weekly or bi weekly cleanings either. Getting help on your time when you can afford it is better than no help at all. Amazon has a new service called Amazon Home Service where you can select from services like house cleanings, plumbing, furniture assembly and even handyman services. Read reviews and vet providers before selecting your service.
