The following contains referral links for toys my little guy truly enjoys. Maybe your baby will love them too.
Right about now, our infant son is going crazy for a few toys around the house. The thing is, I didn’t even know that these toys existed when his sister was born.
Toy Recommendations for 6-12 Month Olds
I’ve always felt like toys in the 6-9 month old category looked pretty much the same across the board. Boy have times changed. Here is what we are flipping out about now.
John Deere Massaging Corn Teether
The smallest mouth at my house loves the vibration of the small nodules of this teether against his sore gums. It vibrates as the child bites down on it. How clever is that?
Hedstrom Sensory Balls
These balls appeal to the sight, sound and touch of your little one. They come in a pack of four and each ball is different. What I love about them is that they light up. Here is a YouTube link so that you can see it in action for yourself.: http://youtu.be/oLkWXhXbrHE
You fill this mat up with water and it comes alive for your little one. With each gentle touch or step, the toys contained within bop up and down in the water. It can captivate a crawling baby long enough to dash into another room because you were going to change the baby but…you just realized you forgot the wipes…just an example.
That’s it. This is what we are oohing and awing about at this stage.

That forgot-the-wipes thing has NEVER happened to me. (Yeah right!) But seriously, these are so fun. I especially love the idea of one that vibrates when they bite down. Genius!

It makes you think, “Why didn’t I think of that?”

I would have loved all of these when my kids were small. Great suggestions!

The crazy thing is, things are even way different than they were almost 4 years before when I had my daughter.
