When I was growing up on my island home, there were never many options of things to do for recreation. Aside from during Carnival time, there were just a few options for entertainment. Going to the beach and the movies was always on top of my list. I used to day dream about what life would be like if I ever moved to the states.
I promised myself that I would take advantage of fun events like theatrical plays and performances as much as possible. That’s why I like living in the Washington DC area. There is also a plethora of things to do in the area.
Once place that I can count on to keep me entertained time and time again is the National Theatre. Fortunately for all, the theatre is getting ready for the opening of STOMP.
What is STOMP?
STOMP is a international percussion show now celebrating it’s 25 anniversary with a anniversary tour. Created by Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas STOMP has won several awards including 4 Emmy nominations, the Olivia Award for Best Choreography and on Emmy award. Talk about doing something fun for date night…this has to be it.
