I must admit, I can watch just about any sport as long as I have some great food by my side. Now, I am not what you would ordinarily call a “sports fan,” but a food fan… A thousand times yes.
I’ve seen live baseball, hockey, football, boxing and basketball games at one time or another. My husband realized a long time ago that if he really wanted to “draw me in,” then great food had to be a part of the “let’s watch sports” equation.
The upcoming March college basketball games are a great excuse for some great food and party fun. Game day party food should be easy and delicious. People want to be able to watch and mingle, while they eat.
My Crispy Baked Chicken Wings will do just that. They are portable, delicious and so easy to make. These chicken wings are a guaranteed slam dunk (see recipe below). The Progresso® Italian Style breadcrumbs that I used gave them a crispy and tasty coating.
You can stop by Food Lion® to pick up the chicken, seasonings maybe some drinks and whatever else you need for your game day get-together. While you are there, be sure to check out Food Lion’s® awesome March sale.
Right now if you buy 10 General Mills products using your Food Lion MVP Card you will get a $5 coupon printed at the register that you can use during your next. Products must be purchased in one transaction and coupons expire on 3/30/14.
On a recent shopping trip, I picked up some of our favorite boxes of cereal , some Progresso® soups and Progresso®Italian Style breadcrumbs.
I still can’t believe that it’s still so cold outside! The best part about this sale is you can use your $5 coupon on anything you want. Now that’s what I call value.
To add to the excitement of the Food Lion® Sale, I’m giving one lucky reader the chance to win a $50 dollar gift card to help with your shopping in the giveaway below. One reader will be selected to win on March 28th,
