“I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Carter’s. I received a complimentary gift card to facilitate my review and thank me for my participation.”
I’m not surprised. I’m not surprised that the summer seemed to just rush by. I guess that means it’s time to shop for back to school. Fortunately, Carter’s has the stylish looks that keep kids “trending”.
Actually, the truth is we’ll be starting kindergarten at home this year. It’s a big first step, and we are ready. But whether we are at home or on the go (mostly on the go), fashionable kids looks are always something we can appreciate.
Gone are the days when I can just pick whatever I want for Rain Drop to wear without a challenge. Nope. She want’s to have a say in her style. *sniff *sniff
I’m not complaining too much because being fashionable can take some practice and, being five is hard. I mean one day it’s all Playdoh and crayons and the next thing you know…bam! Your tooth just falls out. But, whether your kids are five or not, back to school means that kids can go shopping for the cutest looks, with hopes of a successful year ahead.
It was just the perfect time to shop too because Carter’s has a Preschool Sale between 8/5-8/31 so we really got some fabulous deals. It was hard to skip over door busters like 2 or more leggings for $6, long sleeved tees, boy’s terry pants and hoodies.
The Story of Two Students
Clothing
Rain Drop can live in leggings. That’s no problem though, because they are so comfy and give room to move and groove.
My 2 year old Sun Ray, doesn’t care what he wears. If he can climb and poke while wearing it then everything is fine in his world.
Since it is time for “back to school”, I managed to convince the students that they needed to bring apples for the teacher…ME! One student, gladly obliged.
The other student decided that he wasn’t playing that game and that apples are for eating. For now I’ll give him a pass on breaking the class rules. His adorable face and cute, colorful Carter separates make him hard to resist.
Reading
Next it was time for reading.
I am so proud of our new reader. She loves a good classic.
OK, maybe she didn’t read the whole book by herself but, it was a good effort.
Recess
Next it was time for recess, something everyone can agree one. She likes the swings.
He likes the cars…
And slides.
It’s a good thing that Carter’s also has a Labor Day Sale with 50% off the store and more starting on 9/1 – 9/7. It’s perfect because you can combine it with this 25% coupon and save even more on modern and trendy looks for back to school.
Now that’s something that this mama can smile about.

How cute are Rain Drop and Summer Rain!! Good for you. Homeschooling has become the way to go for a lot of SAHM’s. Please keep us posted. My daughter will be in Private school but I’ll also be incorporating homeschooling as well.
