It’s National Hot Tea Month and fortunately for you tea is one my favorite things to talk about. Whether you’re a novice tea drinker, hot tea veteran or coffee aficionado, here are some reasons to drink more tea.

Less Caffeine Than Coffee
While both coffee and tea contain caffeine, tea naturally has less of it. Of course, there are non-caffeinated options for tea drinkers too.
Full of Antioxidants
If you’re looking for antioxidants, you’re going want to fill up because a cup of tea is a good place to find it. Antioxidants are molecules in the body that fight free radicals (known to cause unhealthy aging and disease).
Something for Everybody
Hot tea is as unique as people come. There is a type of tea for everybody and everyone’s body. The plethora of tea benefits are many. For example herbal teas have been touted with being beneficial for everything from reducing menstrual cramps, to the polyphenols in green tea reducing prostate cancer risk. You just have to find the right tea or teas for you.
Tea is Relaxing
It’s hard to pick up a cup of hot tea and immediately not be put at ease. Tea varieties like chamomile. rose, and lavender are known for being especially calming. That’s a great reason to put one of these teas in your cup.
You Don’t Have to Be Fancy, But You Can Be Fancy
You don’t need any sugar, fancy syrups or spend your gas money on your favorite tea or blend. As a matter of fact, you don’t need any fancy equipment either. Just a pot or a kettle will do.
On another note while you DON’T have to be fancy, it’s important to know that you can. What do you think tea parties are about?

As a matter of fact, here are some tea kettles I’m eyeing for my next brew.
By the way, some of the best teas don’t come in a bag. Check this out below to see what I mean.
