Not too long ago, I scurried away with some of my favorite peeps to Atlanta. Let me tell you, it was a trip long overdue and very much needed. As the weather continues to warm up, perhaps you and your family need a little time away. To get ready here are some of my fashion and travel style inspiration to take on your trip
When it comes to travel, by plane is one of my favorite ways to go. For air travel, my goal is always comfy chic. That could mean some jeans and a t-shirt, a lounge set or whatever I’m else I’m into at the time. Some of my favorites to travel in are these fun lounge sets.
Wait…maybe these actually are pajamas. Ha ha! Anyway, I wear them with comfy pride with an airport stride.
In addition you can never go wrong with a simple tee and jeans combo. My favorite t-shirt right now are these custom fit tees from Amazon. I probably own a custom tee in every color now. If not, I promise you that I’m working on it.
You just use the Amazon mobile app to upload your picture, and fill out a few details and you’ve got yourself a custom fit t-shirt.
You can go ahead and pair the t-shirt with any jeans you like. The above cargo jeans are currently sold out, but I found a few cargo jeans below that would pair really well.
After travel, jeans and t-shirt can be mixed and matched with so many other things while on your trip.
During the warm weather months, these ballet flats are great for walking through the airport. They also pack well for exploring the city.
Of course these days, I’m rolling with my new spinner. I’ve used it on 6-8 trips so far and see no scratches so far. Definitely scoop this one up if you’re looking for a new suitcase for Memorial Day or summer travel. Oh and you’ll probably want to use these packing cubes too. They work like a charm.
You’ll want to get a different color set for every member of your family.
When traveling to a different city, you never know when the the weather is going to do a switcharoo. Packing a water resistant trench coat is always a good idea, especially in the spring. These come in five different colors and sizes go up to 3X.
Another one of my favorites is this wide maxi dress. Dress it up or dress it down. I paired it with fashion sneakers for a day at the museum. I told you about this one before, but honestly, I don’t want you to miss out on such a versatile maxi dress.
Don’t forget to pack a foldable sun hat for periods of sun and you’re ready to go.
That’s it for now. I’m about to pack for another trip.
