Q: What’s one thing you wished someone had told you about this beautiful yet ever changing journey?

I wish someone had told me how much to appreciate my mom. I grew up in a family with 4 kids and now that I have 4 kids of my own I GET IT. I get why she was grumpy and tired. But she was an amazing mom to us growing up, always caring and listening.

Q: Who is your favorite TV mom?

My favorite TV mom is Michelle Duggar. I love how she is not afraid to share who she really is. I admit her calm approach to parenting.

Q: How old are your children?

9,5,3,1

Q: What’s it like being a mom of four? What should other mamas know?

Take joy in the imperfection of parenting. So often we see pictures on Pinterest and wish our house looked that beautiful…The reality is that spending time with your children is what is more important. Stop comparing yourself with others and find joy in the messy fingerprints, colored on benches, and giggles and smiles!

Q: What is your favorite activity to do with your children? Why?

I love to dance with my kids. To see the light in their eyes as they dance their hearts out makes me so happy! We can find us dancing almost every day in our living room!

Q: If your “Mom Style” was a song title, what would it be? (No, seriously I need a real song)

You are my sunshine – My only sunshine (It reminds me to wake up and be joyful for my kids every morning!)
