Stylish sweater dresses are truly a transitional style. You can dress them up or down or style them with sandals, heels, sneakers or boots. If it’s cooler, you can warm the sweater dress up with scarves, jackets, winter coats, tights or whatever suits your fancy.

You can wear sweater dresses to the airport, date night, church or even a meet up with a friend. In addition, they also help keep you warm and comfortable without sacrificing style.

Sweater Dress Street Style

I scored this cute pale blue sweater dress recently and couldn’t wait to try it on. It’s one of those dresses that you can wear with a jacket, blazer or without. But the truth is, the party is really in the v-back. On days where you won’t be wearing a coat, you can style this with ballet flats, or lacy fashion sneakers for a day out. Since I bought the sneakers, they’ve had a major price drop too.

You could also belt this sweater dress if you prefer a less blousy look. In the season of “flip flopping” weather, if the weather warms just slip the jacket off and you’re good to go.

It was still very much a winter day when I took this dress for a trial run for a day out in the city. So I paired it with low boots, some leggings and a long blazer to complete the look.
