How to Make Easy Five Ingredient Slow Cooker Unsweetened Apple Sauce

A deliciously simply healthy slow cooker recipe for apple sauce that’s easy to make.



8 apples (mixture of fuji and gala)

3/4 cup unfiltered apple juice

1 cinnamon stick

2 tbsp fresh lemon juice

1/2 tsp nutmeg


Core apples and remove stems. Cut into large chunks. Put into slow cooker. Add unsweetened apple juice, lemon juice, nutmeg and cinnamon stick. Cook on high for 6-8 hours. Blend in food processor until desired consistency. Store in refrigerator in air tight container.
