Off white carpet. The off white carpet was the last thing I was thinking about when we walked into what would be our new home. The house was in a great neighborhood, had a backyard but it’s the solarium that sold me. Skylights and windows let in massive amounts of natural light that drenches your skin in warmth the moment you step in. It’s the perfect place to have a perfectly steeped cup of green tea.
I always have to be careful though because 10 minutes sitting in one of the chaise lounge chairs, could mean that I’m waking up an hour later.
The plush off white carpet in the solarium seemed to compliment the “feel” of the room. In any case, we could easily change the wall to wall carpeting any time we wished. That room was truly my relaxation room. Fast forward to eight years and 2 kids later and before I could figure out what happened, I was fighting a collection of toy clutter, princess play dates and carpet stains.
The kids have succeeded in convincing me that the stains appear from thin air because no one ever remembers spilling a thing.
Thanks to Woolite sponsoring this post, I’m gladly making the transition into an “INSTA” clean room and an eventually an “INSTA” clean home.
Even hair dyes recommend doing a patch test first right? So, I used some carpet samples and discovered that stains like coffee, motor oil, fruit juice, foundation and pasta sauce didn’t stand a chance. And when I say didn’t stand a chance, I mean 30 seconds is all you need or else re-treat, re-blot and repeat.
Woolite INSTAclean Pet Stain Remover is great even if you don’t have any pets. I also like the fact that I don’t have to worry about stains reappearing with Woolite INSTAclean. I just don’t have the time to play “peekaboo” with stains.
Since we no longer have a pet, the biggest culprits in the sun room are fruit juice, crayons and play dough. Can I just say those items are not even supposed to be in that solarium in the first place? Anyway, I had a pet cat many years ago and she had accidents all the time. I was happy to find out that not only does Woolite INSTAclean clean pet soiled areas but, it even discourages pets from coming back for round two.
I don’t know about you but, “clean” and “multipurpose” is like peanut butter and jelly in my book. If you’re going to have one, you might as well have the other. Wouldn’t you agree?
And since we’re now talking about sandwiches, peanut butter and jelly pairs well with green tea. Please try not to get any jelly on the floor while you’re eating but if you do… I won’t be too far away from my Woolite INSTAclean.
Thank you Woolite INSTAclean for sponsoring this post!
