  • Boil on medium heat.
  • You will hear the cranberries start to sizzle and then pop.

  • As the cranberries start to burst, the sauce will get thicker and thicker.
  • Remove from the heat after 10-15 minutes.
  • There should be no whole cranberries left.
  • You can garnish this deliciousness with additional orange zest if desired.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 cup fresh squeezed orange juice 
  • 1 cinnamon stick 
  • 3 tbsp wild honey (to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 
  • 1 tsp ginger finely chopped
  • zest of one orange 

Instructions

  1. Place cranberries in medium pot with orange juice, cinnamon, vanilla, ginger and orange peel on medium-low heat.
  2. Listen for when the cranberries start to pop.
  3. After 10-15 minutes, all the cranberries will be ready.
  4. Remove from heat, let cool and refrigerate or enjoy right away.
