Something magically exciting happened a few weeks ago.

Disney Magic Bands 2017This email hit my inbox.

If you have no idea what it is, then let me clue you in. In “blogging” land, this getting this email is like hitting the virtual lottery. Next week, we will be heading to the Disney Social Media Moms Conference #DSMMC.

The Disney Social Media Moms Conference is an invite only conference where moms/parents get to hang out at Disney with their families and learn about all things blogging and social media at Disney. In it’s 8th year,  it remains a mystery how social media influencers get invited.

For the first time ever, the conference will be a land and sea celebration. We’ve been to Disneyland and Disney World before but never a Disney cruise. This was a travel bucket list item for so long. Besides, hitting the parks on your own and hitting the parks when Disney sends an invite I’ve heard is so much more fun.

Say what?!?

Three days at Port-Orleans Riverside Resort followed by three days aboard the Disney Wonder.

I couldn’t be more excited. The kids don’t know yet, so don’t mention anything (smile).

What does this mean?

  • Make sure you’re following me in Instagram, Facebook, Twitter for all the Disney Fun. I’ll be over-sharing. You really don’t want to miss out on the fun.
  • I really should start packing. Seriously though, I am such a last minute packer.
  • On all platforms the hashtag to follow is #DisneySMMC for all the blogger Disney fun.
  • Subscribe to my YouTube channel, because the big reveal will be posted there sometime this weekend. I’m still trying to figure out how to tell the kids.

In preparation for the trip, Amazon Prime has been like having my own assistant. I’ve been stalking the comments sections and buying things that we’ll need for our trip to Disney World and the Disney Wonder cruise.

Here’s some of what I’ve purchased so far:

Psi Acupressure bands– I really don’t want any nauseous tummies on the ship.

Ahoy Rash Guard Swim Set– My little man is ready for some new swim gear.

SD Memory Card– I’m going to be taking pictures like crazy. Might as well get some memory for my Cannon.

Kind Dark Chocolate and Sea Salt Nut Bars– Between meals, I want to make sure that I’m snacking healthfully.
