When you look good, you feel good. And when it comes to taking care of yourself, health and style make quite the pair. Yesterday I had a tv segment on Good Morning Washington. It was all about muffin’ meals. Bite size meals from breakfast to dessert using your muffin pan.

My Good Morning Washington tv segment didn’t start until 9:45am but I was up by 5:30am. I got the kids situated with the babysitter and their homeschool lessons and I was out the door.
Mic check.
3…2…1…and it was show time.
Recipes featured on the muffin segment:
grain free banana bread chocolate chip muffins
mini veggie frittatas
meatloaf cupcakes
skinny mini apple pies
The Domestic Life Stylist is about self care with everything from nutrition to outfitting yourself with the clothes that will make you feel good.
For my TV segment, I wanted a stylish outfit and pop to highlight my personality and style so I contacted ModCloth. I know that people sometimes freak out when it comes to what to wear when on tv but for me, it boils down to color, comfort and personality.
This mustard dress with with polka dot sleeve accents were exactly my style. After the Live TV segment, I headed straight to DC to visit the new ModCloth store location.
You can watch the entire Good Morning Washington tv segment here.
Take a look at my Facebook Live to check out the store and some of their selections. This dress mustard A-line dress just may be my new favorite. It has pockets!
I just go crazy for a dress with pockets.
But if I’m honest, making the choice to wear this dress for the Good Morning TV segment was kind of tough. There are so many fun and fashionable options…especially for fall.
Here are some of my other favorites:
What do you do after an action packed day?
Nosh of course. Celebration meal consisted of grilled salmon salad and shrimp and grits.
The groom and I split. After that, it was time to put my teacher hat back on and head home to my babies. Preparation for a Greek feast and swim lessons awaited.
So I guess you can say, my life gets a bit crazy at times. But playing dress up in the midst of our “good crazy” is so much fun.
