Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, the classic love story is coming to theaters on March 17th. Thanks to an advanced screening, I get to tell you about the movie early. If you’re thinking, didn’t I already see Beauty and the Beast a few years ago? You’re right. Except that the original movie was not a few years ago but 25 years ago!
I had the opportunity to see the screening of the movie with my own 7 year old princess and the remake of Beauty and the Beast was well worth the wait. The cinematography in this movie is on point. If you saw the original movie, please note the this version is rated PG and not G like the original. A consideration when you’re deciding who to take to this must-see.
In theaters on March 17, the fact that this version was not animated made the story spring off the screen and come to life. The cinematography makes it hard not be enveloped by the scenes.
Emma Watson is Belle. The bibliophile playing, not your typical princess teaches young girls that they are more than a princess.
Of course, there’s lots of music and singing. This scene had me asking myself, “Why don’t my neighbors sing to me like that?”.
More than the Movie
Equally exciting is the fact that Williams and Sonoma is partnering with Disney for the first time in collaboration with Le Creuset for this gorgeous Beauty and the Beast soup pot.
If you don’t get your hands on one of the 500 limited edition pots, note that on March 4th, selected Williams and Sonomas will have a Beauty and the Beast Junior Chef Cooking Class at a store near you.
Also fun are these coloring sheets that were created for the film.
Have your kids choose from these fun activity coloring sheets. Print now to get them excited about the film.
If your kids’ like to color like mine, then these sheets will be a home run.
And how can you not go crazy for this Belle play dress. Can’t you just imagine your princess dunning one when you go to see this movie? I guess I know what princess dress my little lady is going to ask for next.
One of my favorite partnerships with the Disney Beauty and the Beast film has to be with Luxe Blooms. The single preserved rose gift that I received a few weeks ago is still going strong. And what lady doesn’t like roses.
And bedtime is twice as nice with these sweet jammies from Hanna Anderson.
Are you going to see the new Disney Beauty and the Beast movie? Who will you take with you?
