I love seeing my daughter’s face light up when we go to a children’s museum. So recently, I’ve added children’s museums on the list of “things to see” when we travel with our kids.
Here are my top three must-see attractions at the Chicago Children’s Museum. Remember, there are lots of fun things to do at this museum.
If you have a budding paleontologist on your hands, and even if you don’t…your children will enjoy the Dinosaur Expedition at the Chicago Children’s Museum.
The children can put on gloves and use mini brushes to discover their own fossils. It’s really a lot of fun.
There is lots to see and do in the Treehouse Trails area.
You won’t have to worry about the kids getting bored, that’s for sure. Whether they are rock climbing are just “hanging out”, fun will we had by all.
Waterways with Bubbles
The WaterWays was my far our favorite spot at the Chicago Children’s Museum. Before you even enter the large room there are mini raincoats for the kids to wear so that they don’t get their clothes wet.
Then once you get in, there is water and bubbles everywhere. Seriously, this place is made for you to have fun.
There were bubble wands…
And even a place where you could encase yourself in a gigantic bubble.
As you can see, I don’t believe that only kids should have all the fun. And remember when I said that I love to see my daughter’s face light up at a children’s museum? Well, there it is.
Do you and your kids have a favorite children’s museum? Where is it? Maybe I’ll put it on my list.
