Is the change in seasons and dry air wreaking havoc on your skin? It may be a good time to jazz up your skin care routine. Every beauty routine needs a little shaking up every now and again. Gone are the days when a little soap, water and just any body moisturizer will do the trick.
Although, a large portion of skincare depends on what’s going on the inside, you’d be kidding yourself if you didn’t start paying attention to what you put on your skin especially during the fall and winter. Try adding some of these items to your beauty bag and see what you think.
-
Dermalogica
The microfoliant scrub from Dermalogica uses microcrystals to remove dead skin and reveal a bright complexion. -
Fresh Lip Polish
Don’t you just hate dry lips? Fresh’s lip polish will buff that dry skin away it away. -
Coconut Oil
There is nothing like pure coconut oil. If you’ll only be purchasing one thing, then this is what you can use from head to toe. I even mix it with my regular body lotion sometimes because depending on what day it is, I may not care for the smell. Hair, lips, feet…you get the picture.

Moroccan Oil Body Souffle
The smell alone is enough to try this body souffle but, it really works. You can thank the argan oil and shea butter ingredients for being ultra moisturizing. I’ve been a fan of Moroccan oil for quite some time now. -
Sonoma Lavender Peppermint Foot Balm
I’m not sure about you but, my feet are a prime spot for dry skin especially during winter. Yikes! Sometimes, I just look at my sweet 2 year old’s feet in awe…not one dry spot in site.Anyway, Sonoma Lavender Peppermint Foot Balm is Ah-m-a-z-i-n-g. A little bit of this stuff goes a long way. I’m not usually one for peppermint but, the lavender infused with peppermint in this foot balm is winning combination.
It’s just so good.

While you’re at it don’t forget to add some pure oils to your skin care regimen too. Apply directly to your skin after showers while your skin is still wet. You can also add the oil directly to a bottle of your favorite lotion too!
