You want to know what is really popular at my house? Smoothies. We are constantly whipping up new combinations of tasty ingredients that eventually become family favorites. The newest favorite is this berry kale smoothie that I made on Let’s Talk Live .
I just love whipping up dairy free smoothies.
It takes only 30 seconds to make this smoothie using the Blendtec on the smoothie setting.
The recipe is quite simple but, also delicious. When our little guy was only 18 months, he would chug it down. Years later, he still does.
I’m not sure why so many are so scared of kale but adding fresh kale to this smoothie blend is a great way to pack a nutritional punch. Kale is packed with antioxidants, fiber and even vitamin K. Feel free to swap out the kale for spinach if you’d like.
While you may be familiar with seeing bananas, berries and even greens in smoothies, I change things up by adding some cinnamon too.
Cinnamon is a powerful healthy food aid. Studies have shown that as a little as half a teaspoon of cinnamon has lowered cholesterol and blood sugar by 18% and 24% respectfully.
That’s nothing small to shake at. There’s been study after study on the blood sugar lowering effects of cinnamon, so if getting healthy is important to you, this smoothie is your jam.
Not to mention blueberries are packed with antioxidants, which are heart healthy and so good.
Go for extra credit and add some bone broth power for an extra health punch. You can find the exact one in the health and wellness section of my Amazon shop.

This bag of frozen berries had strawberries too. But, you can use whatever combo you like. When you use it has a meal replacement do you add protein powder? There are definitely more smoothies in my future.
Rosalind
Some time I will use a protein powder.
Great drink a so much power in it.
Keep up the great work…
