Thanksgiving is almost here and I couldn’t be more grateful. Last year, I wrote about five personal things that I was grateful for, and am still very much grateful for those things…like family, love and health. This year, I thought I would change things up a bit and write about my gratitude as it relates to blogging.
The platform at The Domestic Life Stylist allows me to do some really cool and amazing things. So here’s why I am thankful this Thanksgiving.
Lifestyle/Travel Contributor
This year, started a column on 5 Minutes for Mom called, “Ask the Domestic Life Stylist”. Although I’ve taken a break from the column, I am still the lifestyle/travel contributor and, as such, continue to contribute content on a regular basis.
Media Stays

One of the perks of being a blogger with a heavy travel focus is media stays. Got to take a trip Riviera Maya for a media stay in Mexico. I even went horseback riding. I never thought that I would get back on a horse. That experience was so much fun. I look forward to more travel reviews and media stays in 2015.
Blogging Education
I’ve got a #NYC state of mind. #BBNYC…here I come!
I attended a small local conference last year and was truly grateful for the experience. This year, going to New York City for Blogger Bash was a step up and more reflective of a “conference like” experience. So grateful that I got to attend. I definitely see more conferences in my future.
Social Media
Just finished hosting the Disney Princess Preschool Play date. I’m tired but those little girls had a blast! #fun #Disney #disneyside #style #MyStyle
The Domestic Life Stylist is on Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter and Google. This year, I took the plunge and joined Instagram and Tsu too. Whoohoo! Who is this person? If you want to keep up with everything Domestic Life Stylist (and I why wouldn’t you?), this is where to find me between posts. By the way, I would love if you would follow me on Facebook and help my follow count out a bit. I am really close to 1000 followers and that would just be awesome.
Media Appearances
Had an awesome time when I was asked to be a twitter correspondent for a nationally syndicated, Daytime Emmy Award-winning TV show. No air date yet, but once I get it, you’ll be the first to know.
So that’s it. That’s my year in review/gratitude blogging list for 2014. Of course I am always thankful for great health, family, well being and a warm bed to sleep in at night. God is good.
