Cool No Heat/No Cook Summer Breakfasts

No cook summer breakfasts

No question, we are in the heat of summer. With temperatures that are this hot, sometimes the last thing that you want to do is heat up your kitchen. So next time you don’t feel like cooking breakfasts think about preparing one of these No Cook No Heat Breakfasts to jumpstart your summer day.

Triple Berry Parfait

Summertime is the perfect time to enjoy berries. Not only do they cost less during the summer (because they are in season), but they are tastier and more nutritious too! Try this Triple Berry Parfait, for the quintessential summer breakfast treat.

Kale/Carrot and Apple Juice

We love juicing in my home. So it’s no surprise that I think that a blended juice beverage made with fresh fruits and veggies make the perfect No Cook Summer Breakfast. If you are new to juicing, don’t be intimidated by this Kale Carrot and Apple Juice. It is simply delicious.

Smoked Salmon & Avocado Bagel

This breakfast is one of my fave of all-time. I love it so much, that we had it for breakfast this morning with a few additions and omissions. I used boiled eggs and tomatoes in the sandwich this morning instead of avocados and swapped chives for the dill. But, at the end of the day, it was still delicious.

Strawberry Pineapple Smoothie

This Strawberry Pineapple Smoothie is cool and refreshing and made with just a few simple ingredients. If you’ve got a bit more of a sweet tooth, you can also add some honey or agave syrup to taste.

Pink Grapefruit Drizzled with Brown Sugar

There is something about a pink grapefruit that I can’t get enough of. The sweet yet tart juice running down my cheek is nature at it’s best. For those folks that have a hard time having breakfast in the morning…this may be the solution for you. I would probably pair my Pink Grapefruit with some protein (like that found in the salmon & avocado bagel) for a more complete breakfast.

Grapenuts with Peaches and Maple

Grape nuts cereal with peaches in milk

If you are like most folks, then you love having cereal in the morning. These Grapenuts with Peaches & Maple is the perfect combo of fiber, crunch and sweetness that you crave. Oh and the maple takes it over the top!

Tropical Muesli

This breakfast is actually great for warm or cool months because it can be eaten hot or cold. Muesli can be made many different ways but what makes this one uniquely good is the flaked coconut on top. Yummy!
